Interior Idea #18 – Striped interior: red, black and white, multicolored

Stripes in the interior design are used to change the width or height of the room.

Of course, these stripes just visually make the room look wider or higher, but it really does and looks really good.

Today I will give you several interior ideas about striped interior.

1. Use wide stripes

When you use wide stripes they look softer than narrow stripes.

Horizontal stripes will make the wall look wider.

Vertical stripes are used for low ceilings.

2. Use sunny colors

For rooms that are small, dark colors are forbidden.

Decorate your walls with striped wallpaper of yellow or lemon colors.

These colors are associated with the sun and summer.

3. Stripes: same colors as interior

Usually the stripes have the colors of the furniture.

It is the great method for modern interiors that are decorated with bright colors.

4. Neutral wallpaper

If you like calm and classical style than beige plus white walls is the best choice for you.

5. Brown/chocolate stripes

For classical look but more strict and serious style, use dark and light colors of the same tone.

For example, you can take brown and combine it with beige.

6. Use stripes but not everywhere

When you have stripes all over the room, you will feel aggressive.

The room will visually be moving all day and night long.
