Today I want to share some ideas about staircases at home.
Usually we don’t even notice this element and don’t bother about making this path special.
To tell the truth, I wanted to find some interesting ideas about chair stair lifts, but didn’t find any unique ideas, so decided to create an inspiring gallery.
Ok, we don’t need any stair elevator, but most of us dream of having it at home:)
1. Round stairs
I like them very much because unordinary shapes always look increadibly and we used to see them square.
Most popular designs here is modern or traditional. Choose what’s better for your home, but pay attention to the whole interior design.
If your hall is designed in traditional style, then it’s better to have the same style in staircases.
2. Spiral stairs
Circular staircases hypnotize. They are also called hellical and can be made of wood (hardwood, acorn is more oftenly used) or metal.
Climbing them is not an easy thing when you are tired or came after a best friend’s birthday.
But still a lot of houses use this design and I would also do, when have my own house.
3. Stair treads
We need to think about safety, especially if you have kids.
Rubber stair tread and vinyl are the most popular.
But we can make this need look gorgeous!
I will prove it.
You can play around with colors, that would suit the home design.
Secondly, you can try to search the pattern that will be nice looking with your wallpaper or carpets (if you have them), and finaly you can try different sizes.
You can place the treads in the center of your staircase or just one side: left or right.
Yes, you should fully cover the staircase if you have kids, but if no design as you wish.
4. Stairs kits
I never thought that you can DIY, but many companies offer such kits.
They can be woodern or metal. Metal is better for outdoors and wooden for inner designs.
5. Stair manufacturers
Top manufactures for USA: Stairworks Inc, Duvinage and EeStairs.
Manufactures for UK: Stairplan, Lyndale, Peer Stairs.
Manufactures for Australia: Slattery&Acquroff, StairLock and Eric Jones Stairbuilding Group.
6. Under stairs storage
I won’t even comment here. Just have fun watching how creative design could be.
